We turn the outdoor industry’s leftovers into veterinary equipment.
Contingenci® by Good Human is a circular micro-factory in San Jose, California. We rescue performance fabric that would otherwise go to landfill and sew it into products that help veterinary clinics run leaner and keep patients comfortable.

Our story
From pandemic masks to the treatment room
Contingenci started in 2020 as a COVID startup, sewing reusable sports masks from performance fabric. The same materials — tough, water-repellent and quick-drying — turned out to solve a problem veterinary clinics face every day: cotton that soaks, stays wet and fills the washers.
Today we make the Pro-Vet™ line for clinics: recovery cushions, exam table pads, anti-slip mats, patient positioners and warming systems, all built from rescued material and designed to stay in service for years.

Founded in San Jose as a COVID startup making reusable performance masks.
Launched the Pro-Veterinary Line of upcycled products for clinics.
Clinics across North America now use Pro-Vet™ products.
Introduced patient warming systems and began building continuing education for vet teams.
How we work
Rescue. Remake. Repair.
Every product starts as material someone else was going to throw away.

Rescue
We take in liability fabric, trims and second-quality goods from outdoor and activewear brands — material sitting in distribution centers with nowhere to go.

Remake
Our San Jose micro-factory designs, prototypes and sews it into products for veterinary clinics. Scraps from our own production become dog beds, so our offcuts stay out of landfill too.

Repair
Our products are built to last and to be fixed. We repair them at cost, so a clinic keeps using what it bought instead of throwing it away.

Founder
“We give power back to the practice — helping clinics run leaner, care better, and stay locally owned.”
Linda Tang, Founder & CEO
Before founding Contingenci, Linda led global quality assurance at The North Face for seven years, making sure the layering, fabrics and construction held up in the hardest conditions. She now brings that same standard to the veterinary clinic.
