Contingenci® by Good Human Submits Comprehensive Grant Application to the EPA for Sustainable Innovation
SAN JOSE, CA, Aug. 27, 2024 - Contingenci® by Good Human, an inventive startup dedicated to promoting the importance of sustainability within the veterinary products industry, is pleased to announce the submission of a detailed 35-page grant application to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). As a female and minority-owned business specializing in upcycling garments into cutting-edge, eco-friendly veterinary items, Contingenci® by Good Human is committed to driving positive environmental change and inspiring its consumers to do the same.
The organization has been actively pursuing various grants to fuel its expansion and innovation efforts. The EPA grant, in particular, represents a significant opportunity to accelerate its mission within the realms of machinery and software, research and development, payroll and branding and marketing. The desired grant of $100,000 would offer the opportunity for accelerated and game-changing support for the small company.
The application process allowed key team leaders to detail their desired objectives for Contingenci® and describe what would be required to make these goals feasible. Renewable energy expert Mark Goldman, along with the company’s grant writers Pam and Melissa, identified data collection and analysis on sustainability metrics and automation of sustainable fill sorting and shredding as imperative targets. These missions can be accomplished through the installation of wireless meters for water and electricity tracking, as well as the designing and prototyping of this automated equipment. The grant will enable Contingenci® to invest in advanced machinery and software, streamlining its upcycling process for greater efficiency and scalability while maintaining a commitment to sustainability.
With the EPA's support, Contingenci® aims to push the boundaries of research and development, exploring new materials, processes and products that align with the company’s sustainable ethos. Secondary data from sustainability metrics and previous research will enhance accuracy and consumer awareness. Surveys will collect product performance and customer satisfaction data from veterinary clinics. Data verification, validation and management will follow strict standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and support project quality.
As the company grows, these additional funds will help attract and retain top talent, allowing Contingenci® by Good Human to continue leading in sustainable innovation while providing valuable employment opportunities. Furthermore, expansion will allow the organization to become more accessible for consumers. To reach a broader audience and solidify its market position, the company plans to allocate funds toward strategic branding and marketing initiatives, amplifying its values and agenda.
The company eagerly anticipates the EPA's response and is optimistic about the potential to bring its visionary plans to fruition with the agency's support. For more information regarding Contingenci®, its products and business practices, please visit contingenci.com.
