Contingenci® by Good Human & the Pro-Veterinary Line: Quick-Dry Fleece Anti-Slip Vet Mat

This goal has been achieved through the creation of the Pro-Veterinary Line, an assortment of beneficial items for clinics developed through the repurposing of deadstock and other upcycled fabrics and garments. These goods aim to support veterinary practices, provide utmost comfortability and productivity for patients and be usable for years to come. 

The Quick-Dry Fleece Anti-Slip Mat was created as a reusable pee-proof pad for pets being treated on an examination table, as well as to protect furniture and other spaces from damage. This product was made from reclaimed North Face® materials to provide insulation and support, and designed by Contingenci® with the insight of renowned veterinarian Dr. Babcock. Created with quick-dry microfleece and anti-slip PU film, this product cuts laundry wash loads by ⅓ and saves 90% energy. Cleaning for this item utilizes 70% less water than cotton, reducing wear on the equipment and saving 15,000 to 20,000 gallons of water annually.

This item has a 1-year warranty and cost depends on the size of the product purchased. The Quick-Dry Fleece Anti-Slip Mat retails at $65 for the 20.6” by 27” variant, $85 for the 32” by 27” version and $115 for the 44.5” by 27” form. A 17” by 36” mat is also available at $114 as well for surgery use only. All variants are both machine washable and wipeable, and dry in just 15 minutes for efficiency and ease of use purposes. 

Along with the sizing alternatives, the mats are completely customizable. Mats can be purchased in the colors pink, blue, green or orange; the product can also be branded with the logo of the veterinary clinic and custom sizes are made to order. The custom logo service is an additional $10 and an extended 2-year warranty can be purcharsed for $250.
