Our Story

About us

There is no planet B 🌎 We're turning trash into treasure. We create upcycled products to help you live a more sustainable & adventurous lifestyle 🌱🐶😻 We are also deeply rooted in ‘give-back initiatives, specifically to minorities and women’s entrepreneurship development.

Contingenci owned by Good Human LLC, a sustainable circular micro-factory in San Jose, focuses on providing sustainable infrastructure services by repurposing outdoor and activewear textiles and garments that would otherwise go to landfill. Our current partners (The North Face, Specialized Bicycles, Marmot, and Title Nine) have helped rescue their waste (liability fabric/trims) or 2nd quality goods sitting in DCs and turn them into functional items to be sold in the recommerance space. On top of that, any of our bi-waste from prototyping, production, and old product lines (our sports face masks) is upcycled into our sustainable dog beds! by Contingenci ®.

Another service is Rapid development; The rapid development program is built to help brands with their fit, fit-modeling, wear testing, sustainable small batch manufacturing, and development practices with over fifty years of collective experience in apparel fitting, pattern making, 3D rendering, quality assurance, and manufacturing. We can take any garment at any fit stage and turn it into a production-ready product in three weeks or less. This aids in cost savings, reduction in sampling waste, and carbon footprint.
