How it works
A Hot Pocket around your patient
Heat from below. Heat from above. Then a sealed shell holds it all in. Each layer traps the heat of the one under it. Build it from the table up. The step numbers match the diagram.
Waterproof Pop Top
Water and wind proof shell. Mesh corners clip to your pad to seal the warm air in.
Premium Quick Dry Blanket
Denali 300 fleece. Holds warmth and dries fast.
Air Hugger™
Patent pending. Laser cut holes move warm air around the patient. The cuff locks onto your hose. No tape.
Forced air unit
Bair Hugger, BedJet, or similar. Plugs into the Air Hugger in step 4.
Warming pad or heated table
HotDog, water blanket, or heated table.

Water pulls heat away more than 20 times faster than air. So the fabric touching your patient matters as much as the heat you add.

A wet patient cools more than 20 times faster than a dry one in the same room.
Cotton soaks it up
Towels hold water against the patient. The wet towel keeps pulling heat out.

A water repellent coating makes fluids bead up and roll off. The fleece dries fast.
